 The University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) made an attempt this year to include the name of the supervisor on the degree certificate.
 According to the official WeChat account "Beijing News," the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) held its graduation ceremony on June 21. The report mentioned that in February 2025, UCAS established the School of Frontier Interdisciplinary Sciences to break down disciplinary boundaries and institutional barriers, cultivating talent in unconventional ways. Today, the first batch of five graduates from the School of Interdisciplinary Sciences received their unique degree certificates.
 The degree certificates not only include the students' names but also the names of the faculty members. Guo Tiande, Dean of the School of Frontier Interdisciplinary Sciences, stated that this is the first time the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences has included the names of faculty members on degree certificates, which is of great significance.
 One of the degree certificates released by the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences' video account and Beijing News' video account shows that this degree certificate, described as "the most direct, straightforward, and unambiguous," has the signatures of four mentors: the responsible mentor, the interdisciplinary mentor, the college mentor, and the industry mentor.
