He Zhiliang, Vice Minister of Central Social Work Department, Under Investigation While in Office
On June 27, 2026, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) and the National Supervisory Commission announced on their website that He Zhiliang (贺志亮), Vice Minister of the Central Social Work Department, is suspected of serious disciplinary and legal violations and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervisory investigation.
Public records show that He Zhiliang, male, of Han ethnicity, was born in October 1970 in Linhe, Inner Mongolia. He joined the Communist Party of China in June 1996 and began working in July 1995. He graduated from Inner Mongolia Institute of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry with a major in agriculture and holds a master's degree in agricultural extension.
He worked for an extended period in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, serving as Deputy Director of the Regional Party Committee's Propaganda Department and Director of the Regional Department of Culture and Tourism. He later served successively as Mayor of Jilin City and Party Secretary of Jilin City in Jilin Province. In January 2023, he became Vice Governor of Jilin Province, and subsequently served as Vice Governor and Director of the Provincial Public Security Department.
In January 2025, He Zhiliang was transferred to the position of Vice Minister of the Central Social Work Department.
